Parts and labor is included in the estimate with permit fees as a separate line item if applicable.

A change in the scope of work may increase or reduce the cost however, any additional costs are to be discussed and agreed upon prior to the installation.
How long do projects typically take?
Many of our projects are completed on the same day, within a few hours and depending upon the complexity several days, however, when an interruption in power is necessary we restore power by the end of each work day.
Do you offer any warranties or guarantees on your work?
Yes, * All of the work we provide – workmanship – is backed by a ten year warranty. All materials have a warranty of five years, with the exception of exterior electronics which have a one year warranty. If anything stops working or fails during the warranty period, we will come back to investigate the problem. If necessary, we will repair the problem and or replace the materials free of charge. In cases where the problem is caused by something other than our workmanship or materials we will recommend a course of action to help you resolve the issue. Safety and Compliance
How do you ensure safety on the job site?
We make sure to be aware of our surroundings such as overhead or underground power lines, regularly inspect personal protection equipment, handle equipment and tools with care, we use high quality testing equipment, staff each job appropriately, be aware of moisture and using insulated tools just to name a few.
Will you obtain the necessary permits for this work?

Will the work require shutting off power, and if so, for how long?
Some projects require the power to be shut off depending on the nature of work such as circuit panel upgrades in which power is typically restored within 4-8 hours. Other work such as lighting improvements and many other job types the power does not need to be shut off.
How do you handle situations where the electrical system doesn’t meet current code standards?
We first advise our clients of any findings that don’t meet the code requirements, if related to the scope of work that we are performing the necessary repairs will be included. Our team will recommend the appropriate course of action to resolve any code violations.
Materials and Techniques
What brands or types of materials do you typically use?
For circuit panel replacements our brand of choice is Square D, we use copper wiring and steel connectors for added rigidity.
Can you recommend energy-efficient options for my project?
Yes, we will always recommend the most energy efficient options for each specific project such as led lighting and or high efficiency electric heating units.
Will the existing electrical system need to be upgraded to handle the work?
In most cases there is no need to upgrade the electrical system to handle the work unless the customer has plans to add more electrical demand.
Are there any new technologies or systems you suggest for modern homes?
Yes, we recommend arc fault circuit breakers and whole house surge protectors.
Scheduling and Communication
What is your availability, and when can you start the project?
We can typically schedule basic installations or repairs for same or next day service and the more advanced projects such as circuit panel replacements or new wiring within a few days.
How will you communicate progress or notify me of any issues during the project?
We send out email and text notifications at the completion of all projects and we will either call, text or email you if any issues arise.
